BACOLOD City – Police arrested two persons for illegal possession of firearms in Barangay Rizal, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.
They were identified as residents Randy Villasor, 40, and Joshua Crisostomo, 28, a police report showed.
Villasor and Crisostomo were nabbed around 9:45 p.m. on July 20 after police received a tip from concern residents regarding the act of the suspects.
Recovered from Villasor was an improvised 12-gauge shotgun loaded with three live bullets.
Crisostomo, on the other hand, yielded a .38-caliber revolver loaded with five live bullets.
The suspects were detained in the lockup facility of the San Carlos City police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
