ROXAS City – Two men were arrested in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Mongpong, police said.
They were identified as resident Maximiano Blanco and John Skit Barrera of Panay, Capiz.
Recovered from their possession were three sachets containing suspected shabu worth about P1,500, a cellphone, and the P500 marked money, police said.
The officers also confiscated a motorcycle from the suspects.
The sting operation was conducted last week.
Blanco and Barrera were detained at the Roxas City police station lockup facility and facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
