BACOLOD City – The motorcycle they were riding crashed against a lamppost along Merciano Road in Dumaguete City.
Anro Bacalso of Guihulngan City and Mark Anthony Lacdao of Pamplona town – all in Negros Oriental – were killed, a police report showed.
The crash happened in front of the Gillamac building around 9:30 p.m. on Friday, the report added.
According to security guard Marlou Autentico, the motorcycle was running fast and even almost hit another motorcycle navigating the road at the time.
Bacalso and Lacdao both sustained body and head injuries. They were rushed to the Holy Child Hospital in Dumaguete where the attending physicians pronounced them “dead on arrival.”/PN
