SAN JOSE, Antique – For alleged illegal gambling, two men were arrested in Barangay Santo Rosario, Pandan, Antique.
They were Genmer Vargas of Barangay Poblacion Sur, Ivisan, Capiz and Christian Amar of angay Santo Rosario, a police report showed.
Vargas and Amar – both 19 years old – were caught in the act of engaging in an illegal colors game around 10:50 p.m. on Oct. 3, police said.
Officers from the Provincial Criminal Investigation and Detection Group and the Pandan municipal police station staged the arrest.
Recovered from Vargas and Amar were a metal funnel, two sets of color boards, three dice, 340 pieces of chips with different colors, and P951 cash.
