BACOLOD City – Two men were arrested for allegedly selling one 12-gauge shotgun to a poseur buyer in Barangay Tinampaan, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental on Thursday afternoon, Nov. 24.
Cadiz City police conducted the entrapment operation against Armil Moreno Jr., 31, a resident of Hda. San Jose, Barangay Damgo, E.B. Magalona town, and Ceasar Delatore, 37, of Aguirre St. Villa Lunok, Barangay 2, Manapla.
Aside from the shotgun kept inside a suitcase and without ammunition, authorities also recovered P9,500 in boodle money, P500 marked money, and the tricycle the suspects were using.
The suspects are currently detained at the Cadiz city Police Station. They are facing charges for violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
