BACOLOD City – Two men who reportedly acted suspiciously on Monday inside a public market in Candoni town, Negros Occidental were nabbed with firearms.
Senior Inspector Jaynick Bermudez identified the suspects as Abito LaƱohan, 25, a resident of Minglanilla, Cebu; and Romulo Delotendos, 37, of Sitio Malabago, Barangay East, Candoni.
Confiscated from them were one .45-caliber pistol and one .357-caliber revolver loaded with bullets.
Bermudez said people at the townās public market were alerted of the presence of the suspects who wore bonnets and tucked their firearms.
They were arrested at an abandoned house in Barangay Caningay in the town.
Delotendos told police operatives that they are planning to āassassinateā the person they have a land conflict with.
The Candoni police have already coordinated with the Minglanilla police if LaƱohan is the same wanted person in Cebu City./PN
