ROXAS City – Two more Negosyo Centers will be opened in Capiz, according to the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).
DTI provincial director Ermelinda Pollentes said the centers will be in the municipalities of Pilar and President Roxas.
The construction of the centers – which is expected to be finished before 2018 – will be taken care of the DTI and local government units.
Other Negosyo Centers are already operational. They located in the towns of Pontevedra, Mambusao, Sigma, Tapaz, Dao, Jamindan, and Sapian.
Another one is located at the ground floor of the DTI Office along the Sacred Heart of Jesus Avenue in Pueblo de Panay in this city.
Pollentes said the establishment of the centers is one of the strategies seen to best foster micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
The centers provide services for MSMEs like business registration assistance, business advisory services, business information, and advocacy monitoring and evaluation.
The establishment of the centers is pursuant to Republic Act 10644, or the Go Negosyo Act. (PIA/PN)
