2 most wanted persons in Belison caught

SAN JOSE, Antique – Two most wanted persons in Belison, Antique were arrested around 4 a.m. on April 27 in Barangay Canituan, Laua-an town.

Julie “Tibor” Samillano was a 34-year-old construction worker and resident of Barangay Canituan, Laua-an while Jory “Noknok” Francisco was a 41-year-old farmer and a resident of Barangay Tigonao, Laua-an.

Both charged with murder, they were arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest (Criminal Case No. 2021-03-9975) issued by Presiding Judge Ernesto Labio Abuay Jr. of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 10.

The crime for which they were charged happened on Sept. 20, 2017. A man was stabbed to death.

The court recommended no bail for the temporary liberty of Samillano and Francisco who were detained at the Belison police station.

The arrests were effected by combined elements the Belison and Laua-an police station and Criminal Investigation and Detection Group./PN
