ILOILO City – Police were searching for a suspect in the shooting of two motorists in Barangay Tinggi-an, Balasan, Iloilo on Thursday.
Ronel Ballon and Albert Mercado, both residents of President Roxas, Capiz, sustained gunshot wounds on the body.
They were taken to the Balasan District Hospital where they were confined.
Police have identified a suspect – Red John Flores of Balasan, Iloilo.
The suspected gunman fled after the incident, police said, citing witnesses.
A police report stated that the shooting happened at around 11:20 a.m.
The victims were on board a motorcycle when attacked by the suspect who was driving another motorcycle, police said.
