BACOLOD City – Police apprehended two murder suspects in two separate operations in Negros Occidental.
The 46-year-old Richie Magasar was caught in Talisay City, Negros Occidental around 5:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
Police served Magasar – resident of Barangay 20, Victorias City, Negros Occidental – a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Gorgonio Ybañez of the Regional Trial Court Branch 48 in Bacolod City dated Jan. 26, 2010.
In the town of Ilog, Romulo Mainit Jr., 28, was nabbed around 8:10 a.m. in his residence in Sitio Toril in Barangay Bocana.
Judge Rodney Magbanua of the Regional Trial Court Branch 61 in Kabankalan City ordered Mainit’s arrest.
Police officers took the suspects in custody. No bail bond was recommended for their temporary liberty./PN
