ILOILO City – Two drug pushing suspects were arrested on Dec. 16 in Barangay Tacbuyan, Estancia, Iloilo.
Eurose Gallenero, 45, was a resident of the barangay while Evergelio Bermudes, 37, was from Barangay Bulaqueña, Estancia.
According to Police Lieutenant Arniel Buraga, Estancia police chief, the suspects were arrested around 12:15 p.m.
Recovered from Gallenero were four sachets of suspected shabu, while seized from Bermudes were four sachets of suspected shabu and a .38 revolver with two rounds of ammunition.
“Matagal ang aming pag-surveillance until nakuha natin sila,” Buraga said.
Charges for violation of Republic Act (RA) 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 would be filed against the suspects.
An additional complaint would be filed against Bermudes for illegal possession of firearm./PN
