BACOLOD City – Two persons were arrested for illegal cockfighting in Barangay Odiong, Moises Padilla, Negros Occidental.
Residents Sharon Janice Brique, 30, and Elmer Balingcong, 41, were detained in the lockup facility of the Moises Padilla police station.
Brique and Balingcong were nabbed on the strength of an arrest warrant on Thursday, police said.
The court recommended a bail bond worth P6,000 each./PN
