ILOILO City – Two suspected drug pushers were arrested in a sting operation in Barangay Balabag, Santa Barbara, Iloilo.
They were Bernie Losañes, 31, and Jester Brian Perfas, both residents of Barangay Pandac, Pavia, Iloilo, a police report showed.
An undercover officer initially bought from the suspects a sachet of suspected shabu for P1,000.
Four more sachets of the prohibited substance valued at around P15,000 were seized during their arrest around 8:15 p.m. on Jan. 23.
The two were detained in the lockup facility of the Pavia municipal police station. Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against them./PN
