BACOLOD City – Two drug pushing suspects were arrested in Barangay 3, La Carlota City.
Maria Gilda Caprias, 28, was a resident of Sitio Malunggay, Barangay Guinpana-an, Moises Padilla town in Negros Occidental. Jessie Dionardo, 30, was also from the same municipality.
On Jan. 27, operatives of the Provincial Anti-Illegal Drug Unit and La Carlota police seized from the suspects four sachets of shabu valued at P10,000.
A cell phone and tooter with traces of shabu were also seized, according to Chief Inspector Mark Anthony Darroca of the Provincial Anti-Illegal Drug Unit.
Caprias and Dionardo were placed under surveillance for days prior to the sting operation Friday last week, according to Darroca.
The suspects face a charge for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
