ILOILO City – Police nabbed a 24-year-old laborer and his minor companion for allegedly stealing scrap metal at a junkshop in Barangay Bolong Oeste, Santa Barbara, Iloilo.
They were identified as 24-year-old Alex Losabia and his 17-year-old cohort, a police report showed.
According to police investigation, the junkshop owner – whose name was not mentioned in the report – chanced upon the suspects stealing load of scrap metal around 10:30 p.m. on Dec. 20.
The suspects were detained in the lockup cell of the Santa Barbara police station, facing charges./PN
