BACOLOD City – Police arrested two drug suspects in a separate buy-bust operations in this city.
The 23-year-old John Bombita was arrested in Barangay 33 around 3 a.m. on Saturday, a police report showed.
Bombita – resident of Barangay 10 – yielded 40 sachets of suspected shabu, it added.
Later that morning, 23-year-old resident Joemarie Latombo was nabbed in Purok Mabinuligon in Barangay 30. When frisked, Latombo yielded nine sachets of suspected illegal drugs.
The suspected shabu seized from the two suspects was valued at around P195,000, police said.
Bombita and Latombo were detained in the lockup cell of Police Station 6, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
