BACOLOD City – Two suspects were caught in a drug sting in Isidro Village, Phase 2, Barangay 3, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.
Police identified the suspects as 32-year-old Elizalde Abellon and 22-year-old Reynalyn Emejas.
Abellon and Emejas were arrested after they sold suspected illegal drugs to an undercover officer around 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, a police report showed.
When frisked, the suspects yielded seven sachets of suspected shabu valued at around P50, 000, P1, 500 cash, a cellphone, and other drug paraphernalia, the report added.
They were detained in the Kabankalan City police station’s lockup facility, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
