2 suspects fall in Roxas City drug bust

ROXAS City – Police arrested two drug suspects in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Banica.

Six sachets of suspected shabu were seized from residents Wilfredo Agudo, 29 and Jomer Durana, 33, a police report showed.

The suspects were nabbed after they sold suspected illegal drugs to an undercover cop for P1,000 evening of April 2, the report added.

Aside from suspected shabu, a cellphone and a motorcycle were also recovered from the suspects’ possession, police said.

“Durana was a former drug surrenderee while Agudo was a newly identified drug suspect,” Roxas City police station’s spokesperson Master Sergeant Ramil Arcangeles told Panay News.

Arcangeles added: “Gin paidalum naton sila sa monitoring for almost two weeks.”

Agudo and Durana were detained in the lockup cell of the Roxas City police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
