2 suspects in fatal stabbing nabbed

SAN JOSE, Antique – Police arrested two suspects tagged in a fatal stabbing in Barangay 3.

They were siblings Jacqoeline, 44, and Polinario Confessor, 37, a police report showed.

According to police investigators, Polinario was accused of stabbing the 27-year-old Gerum Pantilagan around 11:30 p.m. on Feb. 14.

Village watchman Jake De La Serna responded to the incident but he was jointly stabbed by the siblings.

De La Serna and Pantilagan were rushed to the Angel Salazar Memorial General Hospital in this town but the latter was declared β€œdead on arrival.” It was not immediately established what was the motive in the stabbing.

The Confessors were detained in the custodial facility of the San Jose police station, facing charges./PN
