ILOILO City – For allegedly mauling a woman in Barangay Railway, La Paz, two women landed in jail.
Police identified the suspects as 23-year-old Helen Himor and Helen’s relative 40-year-old Tina Himor.
According to the police, Helen and Tina mauled the 21-year-old Alta Tierra, Jaro resident Monica Ann Tejada.
A heated argument triggered the mauling around 8:15 p.m. on July 3, a police report showed.
It was not immediately clear what caused the altercation.
Tejada was brought to West Visayas State University Medical Center for treatment.
Helen and Tina, meanwhile, were detained in the lockup cell of La Paz police station./PN
