“Apart sa P41,000 yearly nga ginahatag sang provincial government sa aton PWDs scholars, may ginahatag kita nga incentives sa ila if maka-graduate sila magna cum laude and cum laude,” said Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) PWD focal person, Ann Rapunzel Ganzon.
Camino thanked the provincial government for the financial support.
“Dako ang nabulig nanda sa akon sa two years nga pandemic. Ang tatay ko tricycle driver. Ang akon nanay nagabantay sang tiangge. Sang nagka-pandemic wala gid kami kuha-an sang livelihood so ang allowance nga ginhatag sang Iloilo provincial government gingamit ko to start a business – street food. Nakabulig inia sa akon para makabulig man sa akon pamilya,” Camino said.
Ganzon urged local government units, government agencies and private companies to give employment opportunities to PWD graduates./PN
