28th Panaad sa Negros Festival slated April 15-21

BACOLOD City – Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson revealed yesterday morning that the 28th Panaad sa Negros Festival will be held on April 15 to 21, 2024.

According to Lacson, he is currently coordinating with Provincial Tourism Officer Cheryl Decena for the arrangements for the festival.

The governor confirmed that a series of meetings will be held in the coming weeks in order to find out the required budget.

He added that the provincial government will provide subsidies to each local government unit (LGU) for this year’s festival and he believes in the cooperation of all LGUs for the success of the festivities.

The weeklong Panaad sa Negros Festival is dubbed as the “Festival of all Festivals” in Negros Occidental as all 31 participating LGUs will feature the best they could offer from culture, sports, food, and tourism. (Watchmen Daily Journal)/PN
