BACOLOD City – Three persons were arrested for illegal gambling in Barangay Cabug.
Police identified them as 33-year-old Eduardo Macaya, 24-year-old Paolo Vinco, and 37-year-old Rolly Bellena.
The suspects were caught engaging in an illegal cockfight on June 22, a police report showed.
Recovered from them were two game fowls, two pieces of gaffs, and P300 bet money, it added.
They were detained in the lockup cell of Police Station 9, facing charges for violation of Presidential Decree 449, or the Cockfighting Law of 1974./PN
