ILOILO City – Policemen caught three persons playing the card game “tong-its” in Barangay Calubihan, Jaro district.
For gambling, the following were detained at the Jaro police station on Wednesday: Kristine Joy Nayo, 30; Mark Henry Parcon, 31; and Christine Mallorca, 47.
Around 6 p.m., policemen seized from the three persons bet money reaching P265 and playing cards.
The suspects face a charge for violating Presidential Decree 1602 that outlaws illegal gambling. /PN
