BACOLOD City – Policemen caught three persons playing the card game “tong-its” in Barangay Zone 7 Pulupandan, Negros Occidental.
For gambling, the following were taken to the municipal: Lormae Estrabon, 28; John Arvie Santillan, 28; and Ariel Casildo, 21. They were all residents of the said village.
Around 6 p.m. on Sept. 21, policemen seized from the three persons P29 bet money and deck of playing cards.
The suspects face a charge for violating Presidential Decree 1602 that outlaws illegal gambling. /PN
