BACOLOD City – Three police noncommissioned officers (PNCOs) here were dismissed from the service for committing administrative offenses.
They were Police Officers 1 Wenefredo Casuyon, Ryan Lumogdang and Jemar Harder.
Casuyon was dismissed for grave misconduct, said Senior Inspector Armilyn Vargas, Bacolod City Police Office public information officer.
Casuyon, then assigned at Police Station 2, was involved in stealing a borrowed motorcycle of a police trainee in September 2014.
Harder was dismissed for grave neglect of duty and being absent without official leave (AWOL).
The then City Public Safety Company officer had been AWOL for 57 days.
Lumogdang was removed from the service also for grave misconduct.
The City Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operation Task Group officer tested positive for illegal drug use in April 2015.
The officers’ removal from the roll of Philippine National Police personnel took effect on Sept. 29 but they received their dismissal order from the Police Regional Office 18 only on Monday, Oct. 3./PN
