3 gas station rob suspect fall

ILOILO City – Three suspects in the robbery of a gasoline station in Barangay Tabuc Suba, Jaro district on June 7 have all been arrested.

Briant Naya, 24, was caught at about 12:15 a.m. on June 9 in his house in Barangay West Habog-Habog, Molo district.

The 26-year-old Mark Galvez was arrested at about 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, also in Barangay West Habog-Habog.

Three hours after, another suspect, Christopher Agonsula, 27, was picked-up by the police at the seaport of Dumangas, Iloilo.

According to Captain Eduardo Siacon of Jaro police station, Naya yielded P60,000 while recovered from Galvez and Agonsula were P80,000 and P100,000 respectively.

A total of P1.6 million was robbed from Jetti Gasoline Station.

Agonsula told the police he hid in Bacolod City but a sister convinced him to surrender.

Agonsula’ s family contacted Major Shella Mae Sangrines, chief of Iloilo City Police Station 1.

Siacon said the three suspects were identified through the security camera of the gas station.

“Nanilag danay sila. Sang bal-an nila wala na tawo, amo to gin sulod nila ang office kun sa diin nakuha nila ang kwarta,” Siacon said.

Naya was one who climbed to the roof; then he destroyed the ceiling and opened the door for his two companions who were waiting outside.
