ROXAS City – Three individuals sustained injuries in a crash between two vehicles in Barangay Bolo, Roxas City at about 1:19 p.m. on Easter Sunday, March 31.
The injured persons were identified as Joel Tristan, 20, of Barangay Punta Tabuc; Mario Ariz, 57, of Sitio Nasagud, Barangay Lanot; Rogelio Fuentes, 36, a construction worker; and Fredie Santiago, 34, of Barangay Jumaguicjic.
According to the Roxas City police, Fuentes was onboard a tricycle with Santiago from the city proper going to Barangay Lanot when he lost control while driving.
The tricycle then grabbed the other lane and collided with the incoming car driven by Tristan.
Another tricycle parked on the roadside where Ariz was sitting also got hit.
The Bureau of Fire Protection’s medical team administered first aid to the victims before taking them to the hospital./PN
