ILOILO City – Three police station commanders of the Iloilo City Police Office (ICPO) were temporarily relieved to undergo mandatory schooling.

Jaro police chief Captain Lester Oliveros was replaced by Major Eduardo Siacon; La Paz police chief Captain Jonna Aguil was replaced by Lieutenant Greg Matutino; and Molo police chief Captain Benjie Dicen was replaced by Major Marlyn Roquero.

The three will undergo a 45-day Investigation Officers Basic Course (IOBC), according to ICPO spokesperson Major Shella Mae Sangrines.

IOBC keeps police chiefs abreast of the current crime investigation trends.

“Need gid ang IOBC sa mga chiefs of police. Temporary lang anay sila nga gin-relieve pero need naton nga may official sa station, that’s why ang mga former hepe ginpapungko temporarily,” Sangrines said.

She added: “So far, satisfied man ang ICPO sa ila performance, that is why after sang ila training ibalik sa ila post.”/PN
