BACOLOD City – A drug suspect was arrested in a drug raid in Silay City, Negros Occidental.
In two other antidrug operations, two were collared in Escalante City and Pontevedra town.
The suspect arrested in Silay City was Edgar Rivera, 50, of Crossing Luguay, Barangay Balaring. Police raided his house on Thursday and confiscated about P3,000 worth of suspected shabu.
Judge Ana Celeste Bernad of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 69 in Silay City issued the search warrant on April 11, 2017.
Rivera was detained at the Silay City police station.
In Escalante City, the arrested suspect was Alan Jayme Caminos of Purok Greenfield, Barangay Balintawak.
Superintendent Leonardo Borromeo, Escalante City police chief, said cops confiscated from Caminos two sachets of suspected shabu, a cell phone and P500.
In Pontevedra, police operatives arrested Aldemer Kayrasia, 25, of Barangay Miranda. He yielded two sachets of suspected shabu.
The suspects face charges for illegal drug possession and peddling./PN
