ILOILO City – The Iloilo Police Provincial Office (IPPO) named the new chiefs of the three municipal police stations in the province.
Police Lieutenant Edward Villanis replaced Police Captain Soviet Torre at the San Dionisio police station effective Sept. 25.
Meanwhile, Police Major Jose Nemias Pamplona became the new Maasin police station chief replacing Police Captain Jayson Mausig and Mina police station is now headed by Police Lieutenant Ma. Rosario Miranda following the relief of Police Captain Jersey Besas.
According to Police Major Rolando Araño, IPPO spokesperson, Besas and Mausig will undergo mandatory schooling for their promotion while Torre was transferred to the Police Regional Office 6 headquarters.
