BACOLOD City – Three individuals are facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, and Presidential Decree 1602 for illegal gambling.
Suspects Silvestre Miag-ao, 56, Revy Baldon, 27, both residents of Barangay 2, this city; and Argie Maraasin, 27, of Talisay City, Negros Occidental, were arrested at around 1:55 p.m. on April 27.
Elements of Police Station 2 caught them playing cara y cruz and recovered an estimated three grams of suspected shabu worth P20,400.
Police said an investigation is ongoing to trace the shabu’s origin./PN
