BACOLOD City – Three people were killed in a stabbing incident in Barangay Mabigo, Canlaon City, Negros Oriental.

Victor Marco Sr., 47, and son Victor Jr., 26, both of Barangay Linothangan, Canlaon City, and Jorey Marco, 48, of Barangay Mabigo died of stab wounds all over their bodies, police said.

They were taken to the Canlaon District Hospital after the attack around 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 11 but were declared “dead on arrival.”

Jorey was drinking whisky with Berto Ticson in the house of Oscar Billocog when Victor Sr., Victor Jr., Bengy Marco, and two unidentified companions arrived, drew their knives and attacked Jorey.

It turned out Jorey was also armed with a knife. He repeatedly stabbed Victor Sr. and Victor Jr., said the police.

Bengy Marco was arrested and detained in the Canlaon City police station lockup cell./PN
