BACOLOD City – Police arrested three men who allegedly tried to cart away bags of cement at a construction site in Barangay Dos Hermanas, Talisay City, Negros Occidental.
They were 24-year-old Jeneper Medez, 31-year-old Jimbo Bayabado, and 30-year-old Benjie Paresan. Their alleged cohort Junjun Panes, meanwhile, managed to flee.
According to police investigation, the suspects were accused of stealing 30 bags of cement from DVS Construction. Company checker Benjie Almario nabbed them around 1:20 p.m. on Nov. 6.
The suspects were detained in the lockup cell of the Talisay City police station, facing theft charges./PN
