ILOILO City – Three high-value suspects recently fell in a buy-bust operation by the City Drug Enforcement Unit on Mac Arthur Drive, Barangay Tabuc Suba, Jaro.
More or less 110 grams of suspected shabu valued at P748,000 were also recovered.
Arturo Homena Castor, 47; Danilo Molina Puga, 48; and Felicito Bionat Cuenca, 54, all residents of the said barangay, were collared on Aug. 18.
Castor was imprisoned sometime in 2011 for illegal drugs and was released in 2020, while Bionat was charged with possessing an illegal weapon.
“Somewhere in Pavia ni sila nagakuha sang ila items. Wala kami sang may nakuha nga ngalan pero didto kuno naghalin kag ini mga two weeks na namon gina-monitor,” Colonel Joeresty Coronica, Iloilo City Police Office director, said.
The suspects, detained at the Jaro police station, will face charges for violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
