BACOLOD City – Three individuals were arrested for illegal gambling in Barangay Vista Alegre, a police report showed.
Police identified the suspects as 39-year-old Joejet Medel, 40-year-old Richard Diotay, and 41-year-old Ricky Gonzaga.
The suspects were playing tong-its around 3:30 p.m. on July 10, the report added.
Confiscated from their possession were P172 bet money and playing cards.
The suspects were detained in the lockup cell of Police Station 7, facing charges for violation of Presidential Decree 1602, or the anti-illegal gambling law./PN
