ILOILO City – Three persons were arrested for illegal gambling in Barangay Tinadtaran, Buenavista, Guimaras.
They were 33-year-old Ronilo Querobin, 30-year-old Jay-R Alibusa and 32-year-old Cerelo Gallo, a police report showed.
Querobin, Alibusa and Gallo were caught playing billiard around 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 21, the report added.
Confiscated from their possessions were P500 bet money, four pieces of cue stick and billiard balls.
The suspects were detained in the custodial facility of the Guimaras police station, facing charges for violation of Presidential Decree 1602, which prescribes stiffer penalties on illegal gambling./PN
