BACOLOD City – Three persons were arrested for illegal gambling in Barangay Mambulac, Silay City, Negros Occidental.
They were 41-year-old Raffy Quimpo, 30-year-old Romano Abela and 28-year-old Joemar Pillado, a police report showed.
Quimpo, Abela and Pillado were caught playing checkers on Aug. 17, the report added.
Recovered from the suspects’ possession were P330 bet money, a playing board and 20 pieces bottle cap.
They were detained in the Silay City police station’s custodial facility./PN
