ILOILO City – A 26-year-old man was hospitalized. He was allegedly mauled and stabbed in Barangay South Baluarte, Molo district yesterday.
Rogie Denila, a village resident, sustained stab wounds on the different parts of the body.
The suspects were Efren Mendiola Sr., 71, his son Efren Jr., 40, and Carl Mendiola, 19.
Efren Sr. was detained at the Molo police station while the two others were able to escape.
The incident happened around 12:30 a.m.
