BACOLOD City – Three drug suspects were arrested in a sting operation in Barangay 6, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.
Suspected shabu valued at around P12,000 was confiscated from 47-year-old Romulo De Asis, 45-year-old Jundelo Cabaron and 38-year-old Ruel Taghoy, a police report showed.
Officers of the San Carlos City police station staged the entrapment operation around 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
When frisked, the suspects yielded two more sachet s of suspected illegal drugs and two cellphones.
De Asis, Cabaron and Taghoy were detained in the custodial facility of San Carlos City police station.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against them./PN
