ILOILO City – A total of 32 police officers under the Police Regional Office 6 (PRO-6) were dismissed from the service in 2021.
They were all police non-commissioned officers (PNCO) charged administratively, according to Police
Lieutenant Colonel Arnel Solis, PRO-6 spokesperson.
The PRO-6’s Regional Internal Affairs Service (RIAS) received a total of 139 complaints against cops from 2021 to March this year.
Aside from the 32 who were dismissed, six others were demoted, 27 were suspended, two suffered from forfeited salary, and four were reprimanded
Fifty-three were exonerated while the cases if 15 others are still under pending.
Solis said these 15 pending cases might have been filed last quarter of 2021 and first quarter of this year.
“Almost all cases nga gin-file sa mga pulis naton na-resolve na kag ang pending or subject to be resolved, mga kaso nga lately lang gin file. Most nga gin pang kasohan indi official,” added.
PRO-6 director, Police Brigadier General Flynn Dongbo warned his men across the region to do better and avoid committing violations.
“Sa lahat na pulis sa PRO-6 please avoid illegal activities at follow orders from the higher command para hindi kayo makasohan,” Dongbo said./PN
