ROXAS City – Before the year ends, the city government will give out 25 kilos of rice to each indigent residents.
Mayor Ronnie Dadivas said the city government allotted a budget for rice procurement.
A total of 32,000 “poorest of the poor residents” have been identified as beneficiaries.
“Sa pagsug-alaw naton sang Paskwa, indi namon gusto nga may magutuman. May pagkaon gihapon sa lamesa ang tagsa ka pamilya,” said Dadivas.
This is already the third rice distribution during this coronavirus disease pandemic.
The first was in April and the second was in August.
The third distribution will likely start next week./PN
