ILOILO – Thirty-three micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in Guimaras received livelihood kits from the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).

The Livelihood Seeding Program-Negosyo Serbisyo sa Baranggay kits were distributed on July 23 at Caza Guest House, Brgy. San Miguel in Jordan, Guimaras.

Eight of the beneficiaries came from Sibunag, seven from Jordan, while Buenavista, San Lorenzo, and Nueva Valencia have six recipients, respectively.

Recipients may choose from different livelihood kits such as food processing, groceries, eatery/services, and pottery worth P6,000 each.

This program aims to help MSMEs rehabilitate their businesses that were affected by the pandemic.

The Business Continuity Planning and Digital Marketing discussion was also conducted to provide beneficiaries additional ideas on reviving and restarting their businesses./PN
