ROXAS City – Thirty-six persons deprived of liberty (PDL) at the Capiz Rehabilitation Center (CRC) were vaccinated against coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) on Sept. 3.
The Capiz provincial government decided to include inmates in its mobile vaccination program.
CRC operation officer PG1 Cyril Dumali said the PDLs vaccinated were mostly senior citizens and those with comorbidities.
The original target for vaccination was supposed to be 42 inmates but due high blood pressure, some of them were not vaccinated.
Dumali hoped all PDLs would be protected from COVID-19 via vaccination.
The CRC has 326 PDLs./PN
