ILOILO City – For possession of an unlicensed firearm, a resident of Barangay San Diego, Lemery, Iloilo was arrested.
The 35-year-old Robert Besonia was detained at the Lemery police station after his arrest on Friday.
Officers recovered a homemade .38 revolver with ammunition in his house at 6 a.m., a police report showed.
Besonia faces a charge for violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
