BACOLOD City – Four people including a male minor were arrested in separate antidrug operations the police conducted in this city and Negros Occidental on Wednesday.
Caught were Joy Sabobo Combate, 40, of Victorias City; Robert Terencio Gavaran, 34, of Salvador Benedicto town; and Jerry Cordova, 58, and a 16-year-old boy of Barangay 2, this city, police said.
Police arrested Combate on Esperanza Street in Barangay 19-A, Victorias City where he also lived at around 1:10 p.m.
Four plastic packs of suspected shabu worth P3,000, drug paraphernalia, P800 cash, and a mobile phone were seized from him.
At around 8:30 p.m. Gavaran was caught in Barangay Bunga, Salvador Benedicto.
The suspect yielded four sachets of suspected shabu and the P300 buy-bust money.
In another buy-bust operation in this city, Cordova and the minor were caught in Barangay 2.
Some 2.5 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated value of P30,000, an improvised tooter and P200 marked money were confiscated from them.
The legal-aged suspects were detained in the police stations of the localities where they were arrested. The minor suspect, on the other hand, was taken to the city government-run Social Development Center./PN
