BACOLOD City – A drug suspect was caught in Silay City while three others were apprehended in an antidrug operation of the police in Barangay San Teodoro, Binalbagan, Negros Occidental on Friday.
In Silay City, Amper Pontillano, 24, of Phase 2, St. Francis Subdivision yielded six packs of suspected shabu worth P150,000 and other drug paraphernalia.
He was caught around 4:15 on Abad Santos Street, Barangay 5 by the Regional Enforcement Unit of Region-18 led by Inspector Joey Mara.
In Binalbagan, police arrested Remar Gepes Gumban, 23, of Barangay San Teodoro; John Bradley Robles De la Cruz, 19, of Mount Carmel Subdivision, Barangay Progreso; and John Paul Yulo Presquito, 18, of Barangay Sto. Rosario.
Gumban was the original target of the police but De la Cruz and Presquito also sold a sachet of suspected shabu to a police poseur-buyer, said Chief Inspector Anthony Grande.
Confiscated from the suspects were P5,000 worth of suspected shabu and other drug paraphernalia./PN
