ILOILO City – Four persons were rushed to the hospital. Their motorcycle got hit by a passenger jeepney along the national highway in Tigbauan, Iloilo.
Around 11:50 a.m. on Oct. 10, the following were taken to the Rep. Pedro Trono Memorial Hospital in nearby Guimbal town:
* Ma. Lynea Traid, 27
* Vince Jared Traid, 30

The two Traids and Cardo were residents of Barangay Buyuan, Tigbauan while Gestosani was from Barangay Parara Norte, also in Tigbauan.
Gestosani was driving the motorcycle (plate number 2693 FV). The passenger jeepney driver, on the other hand, was Cornelio Rupiñan, 47, of Barangay Sinugbuhan, San Joaquin town.
According to the police, the jeepney hit the motorcycle that was executing a left turn to the Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center.
Senior Inspector Hermogenes Eulatic, chief of the Tigbauan police, said the Traids and Cardo were later referred to the Western Visayas Medical Center in Mandurriao, Iloilo City while Gestosani was referred to the Iloilo Doctors’ Hospital.
