BACOLOD City – Four sachets of suspected shabu were recovered in a drug buy-bust operation on Roxas Street in Barangay Poblacion 2, Sagay City, Negros Occidental.
The 27-year-old Rono Randy “Junjun” Parreñas was arrested around 5 p.m. on Sunday, a police report showed.
Parreñas – resident of Poblacion 2 – was nabbed after he sold a sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover police officer for P500.
When frisked, Parreñas yielded three more sachets containing the same substance, police said.
The suspected illegal drugs seized from Parreñas were valued at around P5,000.
Parreñas, detained in the lockup cell of the Sagay City police station, was facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
