BACOLOD City – Four sachets of suspected shabu were recovered in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Udtongan, Escalante City, Negros Occidental.
The suspected illegal drugs seized from the 24-year-old Milende Siarot were valued at around P2,000, a police report showed.
He was arrested around 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, the report added.
Siarot – resident of Barangay Balintawak – was nabbed after he sold a sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover officer for P500.
When frisked, Siarot yielded three more sachets containing the same substance, police said.
Siarot was detained in the lockup cell of the Escalante City police station.
He faces charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
